Beginners reading about the Tao or Buddhism really have as much say in these matters as anyone else.
I always try to leave room for comments as my offerings are only intended to be a starting point for discussion.
For the most part, I share whatever background knowledge I have which may help with terminology or significance to phrasing but otherwise my only purpose for commenting is to illustrate my own willingness to share. Hopefully, you will feel to comfortable enough to share your own experience.

Here, I've added a documentory pulled off of youtube on the Life of the Buddha. Some interesting points in it! ;-)

I studied the Tao with a friend and we both read Wayne Dyer's book:
Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao

We would read a daily Tao verse and meditate upon it and then discuss how it had moved or effected us. I must say, it was powerful and truly brought major change and evolution toward both of our enlightenment. Both of our lives changed for the better drastically.
I would recommend this book highly for personal inner seeking.

'Evil must itself fall at the very moment it has wholly overcome the good, and thus consumed the energy to which it owed it's duration.'
I love that one...

I am loving the way this group is growing and sharing valuable information! I am going to feature it under the CLUBS menu .. though the name is too long, so pardon if i paraphrase.

Keep up the awesome videos and work!

As I journey forward so too does the desire for knowledge, and with this knowledge, come much wisdom that may be passed on to the young ones, and also as I spend time with the Elders, we are able to share this new direction, so as for them to guide me in the way in which I was designed to travel and to which path I am to follow on this part of this my life's journey and so to find if this is to be a part of my purpose...blessings for All that may never know, and blessings to All of mankind, may we all learn to have a true desire to walk together in oneness and as the same and may we do this with much thankfulness to the One that created All Things...I just a small simple humble servant to Creator and All that will allow me this blessing, be at peace with self and be happy...Joseph/EagleBear
